Just had to drop you a line to say how wonderful our weekend was.  Your bed and breakfast is superb and of course having wonderful facilities is no good unless you are made to feel welcome, and you certainly did go out of your way to welcome your guests and give them a 5 star service.  Sorry, did I say 5 star - I should have said 10 star!!

Our only mistake was to have your wonderful meal on the first night - it spoiled us then for the rest of our break as we never did find anything to equal your pork and apple casserole!

Everytime I eat some of your jam I will close my eyes and picture myself sitting back in Pucklechurch eating my breakfast whilst watching the birds enjoying theirs.  I do hope we will return again some day soon.  Margaret and Jack September 2009  (Taken from an e-mail)

I really do have to thank you for an absolutely fabulous weekend, you are both wonderful hosts and we really do believe you truly deserve the awards you have won and hope you also achieve the same this year.  We have never stayed in another B & B with the same attention to every detail. The breakfast was superb, kept us going all day, the supper was a real treat and again superb. We felt really spoilt the whole weekend. We are also looking forward to our stay with you in September - it was a relief that you had the rooms available for the 4 of us. I will be passing on to our friends what wonderful hosts you both are and what a FAB B&B you have, you are simply the best. Thank you both once again for making us feel so welcome. Found this wonderful place via the internet, so was quite reserved on arrival! But unlike a lot of accommodation advertised on the net, this has lived up to the advert in everyway possible. Chris and I would like to say a big thank you for not only your hospitality but the lovely surroundings, comfortable and attractive accommodation and the wonderful food - all this, and sensitive to the "green" issues. You are both to be congratulated on providing a wonderful and very affordable service. We needed a few days away and what a pleasure to spend it at Fern Cottage. The weather, cold but glistening was a perfect backdrop for all the wildlife common or garden, as well as deer and sparrowhawks! We would love to return. Thank you both so very much for making our stay so enjoyable. After our awful drive down and then the cancellation of the concert, Fern Cottage made up for it! Our room was lovely and your attention to detail made it even more special. It was so nice to wake up to such wonderful views and see those happy chickens (we’re sure they were smiling!). Our daughters chose for us to stay at your B & B after much research. They came across this fantastic “gem” and had no hesitation in making this our surprise treat for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. You have a wonderful home and we can understand why you’ve won these special Awards. All the extra touches mean so much, the food was delicious, especially the date, banana and walnut yoghurt.
